    Orit acts as a consultant to Epstein Rosenblum Maoz (ERM) in the areas of competition law (including European Community competition law), regulation, consumer protection and fair trading. 

    Orit has a Ph.D. in Competition Law from King’s College London. Her thesis titled "Consumer Participation in Competition Policy" was supervised by Professor Richard Whish. In addition, Orit has an LLM from Tel-Aviv University and an LLB and BA in Business Administration from the Interdisciplinary Centre in Herzeliya. 

    From 2008 to 2009 Orit was a research affiliate at Oxford University, at the Oxford Centre for Competition Law and Policy. 

    Prior to joining Epstein Rosenblum Maoz (ERM), Orit worked at the legal department of the Israeli Antitrust Authority as a member of the telecommunication and basic industries team. In addition, Orit was in charge of the areas of intellectual property, professional unions and the postal market. 

    Orit also advises public authorities and consumer organisations both in Israel and abroad. In this framework, Orit advised Consumers International, an international consumer organisation consisting of over 230 consumer organisations, with respect to a project funded by the European Commission for the empowerment of consumer organisations in competition policy. She also advised the Israeli Ministry of Trade and Industry Committee with respect to the establishment of a new fair trading authority in Israel. Orit is regularly invited to give lectures and participate in panels in various forums in Israel and abroad. 

    Orit's general research interests pertain to competition law, regulation, consumer protection and fair trading. In particular, Orit is interested in the topics of consumer participation in competition policy, institutional design of enforcement authorities and enforcement tools, public participation in and consultation mechanisms for policy design, consumer empowerment, private enforcement, stakeholder theory, the tension between regulation and competition, Regulatory Impact Analysis, comparative law, civil society, capacity building and competition and development. 

    Orit is a member of the Israel Bar and she speaks Hebrew, English and French.
