Yair focuses on Israeli and international taxation, tax planning, tax litigation and taxation of M&A and finance transactions, and he heads the firm’s tax practice.
Prior to joining Epstein Rosenblum Maoz (ERM), Yair was a tax partner at Yigal Arnon & Co.
Yair has advised and structured high-profile transactions for Fortune 500 and Tel Aviv 25 corporate clients, international investment banks, venture capital funds, hedge funds, capital market leaders and state-owned entities.
The deals he has advised on include private and public M&A, investments in Israeli companies and the structuring of Israeli investments abroad (in the United States, Eastern and Western Europe, Russia, China, Central and South America).
In addition, Yair has specific expertise in the field of equity compensation, and has advised numerous multi-national corporations on their employee compensation strategies in Israel.
Yair has extensive experience in tax litigation and represents many high net worth individuals and corporate clients before the Supreme and District Courts and Land Tax Committees.
Yair has acted for clients such as Google, IBM, Microsoft, Motorola Mobility, the Delek Group, Kimberly Hogla, Altschuler Shaham, and others.
Yair has a bachelor degree in law (LLB) from the University of Tel Aviv and serves as the deputy head of the Tax Committee of the Israeli Bar.
