ERM advises Unicredit and Bank Ha'poalim on a €200 million aircraft acquisition financing

Epstein Rosenblum Maoz (ERM) acted for a syndication of lenders including Unicredit, Bank Ha'poalimand CASA on the financing of the purchase by the Israeli defence ministry of 30 M-346 Italian made aircrafts.
 
The value of the deal is approx. €1 billion.
 
The deal has been announced and is due to be signed by the Israeli and Italian defence ministries.

This deal is significant, not only in value but also in that it represents the first time a security deal was financed by the private sector in Israel.
 
ERM's finance department continues to be very active in the Israeli cross-border financing sector, and continues to advise leading international and local lenders and borrowers on many of the most complex transactions carried out in recent years.
