Projects and energy
Epstein Rosenblum Maoz (ERM) appreciates the complexity of international projects and PFI/PPP, and the necessity to allocate risks in a judicious manner. Having worked on some of the most challenging projects both in Israel and abroad, we offer commercially sound solutions that enable our clients and their partners to achieve their objectives.
Combining our lawyers' expertise in the fields of finance, mergers and acquisitions, environment, regulation, capital markets and real estate, we offer comprehensive advice in relation to the most complex projects. Our lawyers have advised sponsors, banks, investors and project companies on the financing and developing of projects in the energy, natural resources and infrastructure sectors, including alternative energy (solar (photo-voltaic and thermo-solar), wind, water and geothermic), roads, rail, oil and gas, carbon trading (based on the Kyoto Protocols), power and desalination plants, and education.
We have particular experience in advising on projects that combine different forms of structured finance techniques, such as monetisation, securitisations, leveraged finance and borrowing-based structures.
In light of our lawyers' extensive multi-jurisdictional experience and expertise, we are able to execute our clients' international transactions efficiently and effectively.
